Executive Officer Information

Executive Officer (EO) is written to the specification laid out in Article-III of our constitution. Information on EO's roles, elections, voting procedure, term of office and impeachment can be found under Article-III, Article-VI, and Article VIII.

Section 1: The term of the office for all EO is one year, to be ended on the last Sunday of July.

Section 2: The President and Vice President will be elected by all CSAUSA Members. All CSAUSA members will receive a ballot to vote which expires in 72 hours.

Section 3: Executive Officers who are interested in becoming the President must be nominated by oneself, current committee board, and advisors.

Section 4: Presidential candidates need to participate in an online election campaign and will be required to submit a “statement of commitment” (or video) and a draft operational plan to the election committees.

Section 5: The election will take place on the Last Sunday of June and campaign duration is one month prior to the election. The result must be announced on the following Sunday at 12:00 noon Eastern Time.

Section 6: Presidential elections and campaigns will be organized, coordinated and conducted online by the election committee.

Section 7: The election committee will be co-led by one of the advisors and the President. The Election committee shall not have any conflict of interests with Presidential candidates.

Section 8: Candidates with the majority of votes will become the President, and Vice President.

Section 9: Members who are interested in serving the Executive Board (EB) need to apply through an application by Last Sunday of May.

Section 10: The current EB and the Advisors elected the incoming EB by Second Sunday of June.

Section 11: The Inauguration will take place online on the last Sunday July .

Section 12: Members of the Executive Board can serve a maximum of two terms in the same position.

Section 13: In case of any delays in the elections and internal assignment processes, the head of the election committee will temporarily lead the operation of CSAUSA.
